Set the bracket
Manufacturer-rated, fastened to the structural surround, with proper back-tilt so condensate drains outside — not into your wall.

Test the outlet
Grounding, GFCI, dedicated-circuit verification. We don't plug a 12,000 BTU unit into a daisy-chained strip.

Lift, seat, and seal
Two-person lift, side panels, foam strips at the sash, exterior caulk for non-trivial gaps. Air leaks at the install are most 'this AC isn't working right' complaints.

Power on, test, walk you through it
Remote pairing, cool/fan modes, drainage check. We don't leave until the unit's cooling and you know how it works.

Old unit out
If you chose Install & Haul-Away, the old unit leaves with us and goes to a licensed e-waste handler.

Every install above ground floor gets a manufacturer-rated bracket. No exceptions.
A falling AC has been fatal in NYC. We will not install a window unit above the ground floor without a proper bracket — not for any price, not on any floor. We’d rather not install your AC than be the installer that put it in unsafely.
Scope
What’s not in the install.
We’re honest about scope so you don’t plan around something we don’t do. If any of these come up on the site visit, we’ll tell you and refund the install portion if we can’t proceed.
- ✗New electrical work or new outlets
- ✗Modifying the window frame (no cutting, no drilling new sash holes)
- ✗Installation on a fire escape (illegal in NYC)
- ✗Reusing brackets from a previous install
